Maximum Health!
I've often thought that wealth and health should go together. I can think of no more miserable a situation than to be wealthy and extremely unhealthy. Sure being poor and unhealthy would be more miserable - but you get my drift! In fact, given a hard choice between optimum health and a moderate amount of wealth - and bad health while being a multimillionaire, I think most people would value their health more. I certainly would
But that's the problem. Most of us don't value health enough - not until we've lost it! Why is this? I think it's because we take our bodies for granted, and as long as things appear to being going okay, we're inclined to "leave well alone". Trouble is, this goes against the grain of common sense. Even a car needs maintenance, so a human body is surely in need of it too.
Another obstacle to people taking their health seriously is the time-delay factor. If you're feeling great today, you'll likely think, "I'm fine, so I don't need to take any preventative actions." In other words our own health falls into the "insurance" trap. And by that I mean we treat it as we would insurance. To spend money on ensuring we stay healthly falls into the same negative-thinking territory as spending money to ensure we don't get burgled, or flooded, or struck by lightning.
Of course if you have an existing unhealthy condition, then you are obviously prepared to seek treatment for it - for that's in the present time, not the future. But common sense shouts out to me that it would be much better to treat our bodies better in the first place - so as not to have such ailments to deal with later.
Because of such thinking, I have always been interested in nutrition - vitamins, supplements and any other ways of looking after the needs of my body. Not to get fanatical though, but simply being sensible about such things and looking out for my own long term best health interest. And I'm sure if you think about it for a minute, you feel the same.
For what it's worth I'm going to list some of the products I use and personally recommend as adding value to my life - and where I get them from. Mind you, I didn't come across these overnight, or without following many other paths previously. But they do represent what I believe to be the culmination of what I've learned and what I've been looking for over the years. Take from it what you will, but at least explore these links and see if there is something that appeals to your sense of "good health".
Cutting Edge Health Supplements
I've been a regular and committed consumer of vitamins and various supplements since 1996 - and generally feel that I've had better health as a result. Of course that's hard to prove, but mostly I've found my immune system stronger and more able to recover quickly if it lets me down.
However, over those years I have also discovered that not all such products are created equal. In fact, some are decidedly unequal! A good illustration would be to compare cheap vitamins purchased at your local supermarket with something vastly superior available from an alternative source.
I'm sure you've heard how most vitamins end up "going down the toilet". And perhaps most do. That means a very necessary part of any research must also have to do with understanding how such supplements are obsorbed correctly into the human body. And believe me, there are companies who take this very seriously.
As a result of the above, I've never looked for the cheapest, or necessarily the most popular brands of supplements. Rather I've looked at the science behind them, the companies involved, the quality of information provided - and of course the satisfaction level of their customers.
And my long quest has lead me to discover what I believe to be perhaps the best supplier of such supplements on the planet. They do their own in-house research, their own in-house manufacturing, and they offer a truly impressive line of cutting edge supplements which offer nutritional support for many health conditions.
But you won't find this company's supplements on the shelves of any supermarket or health shop though. In fact you'll only find them on the internet - available directly from manufacturer to customer.
The company is called Xtend-Life and I certainly recommend you take the time to peruse their product line - which includes an impressive range of supplements and skin care.
The Fuel of Life
Various supplements are targeted to specific health needs, and if you're anything like me, then you may have tried all sorts of things. However, there is one supplement that is very different - in that it accelerates the production of the body's own most powerful antioxident - glutathione.
You see oxygen is the fuel of life - it's what our cells "burn" to create energy. Trouble is, there is also a byproduct called "oxidation" - which is not good. In fact, it is this oxidation process which is primarily responsible for all inflamatory conditions and ageing itself. The remedy is to have access to an effective anti-oxident, and this is exactly what glutathione is.
Unfortunately glutathione production decreases with age, as does the benefits it brings. And it cannot successfully be absorbed by the body using oral supplementation. That's what makes Max GXL such a fascinating product - because it actually accelerates the body's own production of glutathione, resulting in increased energy, reduced inflammatory conditions, and a boosted immune system.

The Ultimate Immune Booster
Garlic has been known for centuries as a natural defence against colds and other viral infections. What is less known is the actual active ingredient in garlic that is responsible for this is called allicin. This is naturally produced when one bites into garlic, but it's highly unstable and unable to normally be retained in its active state. Enter a proprietary process which isolates and stabilises it and you have a product called Allisure. One product I swear by is Alligin which is a powerful synergistic blend of both Allisure and ginger.
You can learn all about the beneficial effects of both allicin and ginger in a 177 page e-book by UK biochemist Peter Josling entitled - "Allicen and Ginger: Nature's Power Healers" - which you can download from free from HERE.
Nature's Whole Foods
I'm sure you know that you're supposed to eat a minimum of 5 servings of fruit and vegetables each day - and some authorities would suggest more. Well, that's fine as a good idea, but for many people it is very difficult to achieve.
One innovative product that ensures you get more than your fair share of such whole foods is The Feast - which uses a proprietary low temperature drying process to deliver a vast range of fruits, vegetables, nuts, sprouts and probiotics in a very delicious and consumable way.
